Greetings of Peace (As-Salaamu
Alaykum)
from the Organization of Islamic Speakers Midwest (OISM).
The
Organization of Islamic Speakers
Midwest is pleased to offer
an opportunity to learn about
Islam and Muslim cultures from
American Muslims.
Conducted by trained and certified American Muslims, these seminars have been utilized in: schools, businesses, faith based institutions, police departments, civic organizations, hospitals, and state and local government agencies. These seminars are designed to assist professionals in gaining a basic understanding of Muslim cultures and an understanding of the diversity among Muslims.
" It was very interesting to hear from Muslims who actually live the way they describe instead of hearing from someone who just knows about it." Student - Downers Grove North High School
Healthcare
for the Muslim Patient
“...Having
a knowledge of the views surrounding death
and dying
and donation in the Muslim faith will enable
me to approach
Muslim families in a way which respects
their concerns,
and will help me to serve them better regardless
of
their decisions regarding donation. I feel
I will be
able to assist as an advocate for Muslim
families when
working with the doctors and nurses..”

combination of the

were a perfect fit
for our world cultures
